Follow the easy instructions below to ensure we receive your device safely and with the right documentation.

  1. Backup (synchronize) your music and/or data with your computer. Normally you will not lose any music and/or data during the battery replacement process and or evaluation, but we strongly recommend a backup just in case.
  2. If you are able to, please charge up your device fully prior to shipping to us.
  3. Either disable or provide us with your 4 digit pass code.
  4. When you are sending us an iphone 3G or 3GS, please remove the SIM card from your phone and do not send it with your package. If you are sending us a 1st Generation Iphone, we do recommend that you include your SIM card and leave your phone activated, as this greatly increases the number of functions we can test with your device.
  5. Slide the power switch to the ‘Off/Hold’ position and place a small piece of masking tape over it to prevent the device from turning on during transport. (Please note do not use Scotch tape or duct tape, which will damage the surfaces)
  6. Do not send any accessories with your device and place it in a anti static bag or plastic bag to protect it from moisture damage.
  7. Please insure your device is packaged properly so it arrives safely at our facility.
  8. Enclose a print-out of our shipping form inside the box . If you want to receive your old battery back after a battery replacement has been performed, please let us know on this information sheet. We will properly dispose of your old battery unless you indicate that you want it sent back with your device.
  9. Address your parcel to the following address.

    Please Note: Do not make any reference to package contents on the outside of your parcel to avoid anyone from knowing your valuable device is inside. Please do not ship with any box that you want returned to you as we see many devices and are unable to track specific boxes.

Once your package arrives at out facility you will receive an email from us letting you know that your device has arrived to be evaluated by our techs. You can expect this email by the close of business on the same day the shipping service shows your package as delivered, we receive a large number of packages and as soon as yours has been opened and checked in you will hear from us.

QRM Electronics will make at 3 attempts to contact you by email or telephone to proceed with needed repairs and should we not be able to contact you and if the device is left past 90 days from the day of receipt it will be automatically be the property of QRM Electronics and will not be sent back to you....
